Library Hours
The library is open whenever Beth El Temple is open. Please check the calendar for meetings or classes as it will not be available during those times.
How to Check Out a Book
Please use the Sign-out Sheet found on the library desk. You will need to write your name, the title of the book, the Bar Code number and finally, the date checked out. Books are due four weeks from check-out.
Ways to Support the Library
Funding for the library collection and library operations comes from donations. Please consider supporting the new Beth El library through one of these two funds:
Library Fund: Donations to this fund support both the library collection and the library’s operations.
Sylvia Clark Solomon Memorial Library Endowment Fund: Proceeds from this endowment fund are used to purchase books.
We are currently not accepting donations of books and other materials.

Celebrate our campers as we send them off to summer camp Beth El style! All are invited to join us for a special outdoor Shabbat service honoring our campers, followed by a BBQ dinner for all. Join Rabbi Rachel Zerin, Women's Network and the Israel Engagement Committee as we explore both timely and timeless topics through the lens of "Dirshuni: Contemporary Women's Midrash," a book which weaves together ancient Jewish texts and contemporary women's voices. All are welcome, whether it is your first time or you are a regular. All you need is an interest in learning! Snacks will be provided. Note: Evening minyan begins at 5:30 pm (and please join us if you can!). Class will begin at approximately 6:00pm. -
