- Take I-87 (Major Deegan/New York Thruway) to Exit 4 onto Cross County Parkway, or take Henry Hudson Parkway North then onto the Cross County.
- Continue onto Hutchinson Parkway North, which leads to I-684 North (to Brewster).
- Continue on I-684 North to Exit 9E (I-84 East to Danbury/Hartford).
- Continue on 84 East until Exit 43.
- Get off 84 at Exit 43. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Park Road.
- Almost immediately after, take your first left onto Trout Brook Drive.
- Continue to the 7th traffic light (exactly 2.4 miles).
- Take a left onto Albany Avenue (Route 44).
- Go 0.8 miles (through 4 traffic lights) and the Temple is on the right.
From Bronx/Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge
- Go north onto Hutchinson Parkway which leads into I-684 North (to Brewster).

In Avon Center, at the traffic light just before O’Neill Chevrolet, take a left onto Old Farms Road.
Proceed on Old Farms Road to Arch Road.
Take a right onto Arch Road.
Continue past St. Ann’s Cemetery to Jackson Street.
Take a left onto Jackson Street.
Take the right fork over the unpaved road through the wooded area to the cemetery.
Park in the open area.

Join Rabbi Rachel Zerin, Women's Network and the Israel Engagement Committee as we explore both timely and timeless topics through the lens of "Dirshuni: Contemporary Women's Midrash," a book which weaves together ancient Jewish texts and contemporary women's voices. All are welcome, whether it is your first time or you are a regular. All you need is an interest in learning! Snacks will be provided. Note: Evening minyan begins at 5:30 pm (and please join us if you can!). Class will begin at approximately 6:00pm. -

Afternoon Movie with Chai Society Thursday, May 16, 1pm at Beth El Chai Society invites you to an afternoon program featuring “Sholem Aleichem: Laughing in the Darkness.” This film is a riveting portrait of the great writer whose stories became the basis of the Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof. (Click here for the trailer!) Mark Schmidek will introduce this film, and his descriptions and commentary will enhance this wonderful documentary. There will be popcorn, munchies and dessert.
